The pump operates via an automatic pressure switch, engaging when the nozzle is triggered and disengaging when it is released. The low current draw allows for sustained use without placing excessive load on the vehicle's electrical system.

Complete washdown assembly
The package contains the washdown pump, a trigger spray nozzle with quick connector, and a separate spray nozzle with two additional quick connectors. A 25-inch coiled hose, protected against UV damage and sized at half an inch, connects the components. The kit also includes four barbed hose adapters, a quick disconnect fitting, a 50 mesh inlet strainer, and two water pipe clamps to ensure secure connections.
