Hydrogenated Soy Oil Base
The formulation relies on hydrogenated soy oil combined with a soy-based additive. This composition creates a stable base that is distinct from standard vegetable waxes. While it is not organic or food grade, it remains free of formaldehyde, offering a clean starting point for artisan production.

Precise Pouring Parameters
Makers should aim for a pour temperature between 65 and 80 degrees Celsius. The included additive allows for hotter pours, which helps mitigate frosting on the surface. Seasonal shifts may necessitate adjusting these figures, requiring personal testing to achieve optimal results in varying climates.

About this product
Easy to use professional grade Golden Wax 464 Soy wax is a hydrogenated soy oil and contains a soy-based additive.ÊIt is 100% pure Soy wax and is a natural alternative vegetable wax and kosher. The soy-based additive enables the soy to be poured at a hotter temperature (around 75 C) helping to reduce frosting and increasing FO percentage (fragrance oil).
It has a lower melt point which helps with the burn and gives better glass adhesion. Suitable for container candles, tealights and clam shell melts. Not suitable for moulds.
This wax does not requite the addition of any other additives.
It is formaldehyde free, natural, not organic, not food grade.
