01CANOPIES & GAZEBOS
Grey canvas for the summer sky
A broad expanse of grey fabric stretches across the patio, transforming open air into a cool, shaded retreat. The neutral tone settles quietly against the garden backdrop, offering a visual rest from the intensity of direct sunlight.
This 3m by 2.5m sail is designed for outdoor living spaces where comfort meets durability. It suits homeowners seeking a practical solution for dining areas, playgrounds or lounging spots that require significant temperature reduction without sacrificing airflow.
1 x Shade Sail
02MATERIALS
Robust 280 GSM fabric construction
Constructed from a heavy-duty 280 GSM textile, the sail provides steadfast protection against the elements. The material is UV-stabilised to withstand prolonged exposure, ensuring the grey colour remains consistent over time. This substantial weight contributes to the sail's ability to block 95 percent of UV light, creating a distinct boundary between the hot exterior and the cooler space beneath.
PRACTICAL DETAILS
Installation angles and care requirements
For optimal performance, the sail should be installed at a minimum 25-degree angle to facilitate water runoff. Dimensions are measured from corner mounts, covering an area of 3m by 2.5m. Maintenance is straightforward; a simple hose down is sufficient to clean the fabric. Note that mountings or poles are not supplied, so existing structures or new poles are required for support.
PLACEMENT
Versatile shading for various settings
Ideal for patios, courtyards, and playgrounds, this sail adapts to diverse outdoor environments. Its rectangular shape fits neatly over dining tables or lounge sets, while its size accommodates larger family gatherings. The grey hue complements most exterior palettes, blending seamlessly with timber decks, stone pavers or greenery. It serves as a functional architectural element that extends the usability of your outdoor space throughout the day.
