In order to stabilize the data, please check the following steps when using a non-contact infrared thermometer:
: Use an ordinary glass thermometer to measure the animal, assuming a temperature of 37.5℃;
: Use a non-contact infrared thermometer to measure the same animal and keep a distance of less than 5cm (note that obstacles that may affect the measurement, such as hair and stains, should be removed).
If the same temperature of 37.5℃ is obtained, it means that the non-contact infrared thermometer is set up properly and can be used.
If you get a low reading, such as 36.4°C, with a difference of 1.1°C, you need to calibrate the non-contact infrared thermometer and add the difference.
Press and hold the “MODE” button for two seconds, the screen displays F1, then press the “MODE” button until it enters F3, and then press the “UP” button to add the difference.
Put this product in a dry place to reduce dust, pollution and sunlight.
If in the state of animal measurement, when the temperature is lower than 32°C or higher than 45°C, the LCD will not display the value but will display “LO” or “H”.
