Bridging the digital and analog divide
In rooms where legacy infrastructure meets modern media, this converter acts as a quiet translator. It sits between your new source device and the established wiring of a boardroom or lounge, ensuring that high-definition content flows smoothly through older cabling.
The UGREEN 40223 is suited for professionals and enthusiasts who wish to retain their current A/V distribution setup without replacing every cable in the building. It simply adapts the signal so it can be understood by traditional receivers.

02FUNCTION
Translating the digital signal
At its core, the device takes a standard HDMI signal and breaks it down into the familiar Y/R/W RCA format. This allows any modern media player or set-top box to communicate with equipment that predates widespread HDMI adoption. The process is seamless, requiring no complex configuration, just a direct connection that respects both the source and the destination.
APPLICATION
For established A/V environments
This converter shines in commercial settings like clubs or offices where an extensive network of analogue cables already exists. Rather than undertaking a costly full-system upgrade to HDMI, you can simply plug this adapter into the chain. It preserves the integrity of your existing investment while unlocking the capabilities of newer, higher-resolution sources.
