Beneath, the sole is formed from durable, recyclable injection-molded PVC. This non-porous base differs significantly from standard rubber, ensuring it remains clean and free of marks even after vigorous use.

Handmade Uniqueness and Ethical Production
With approximately seventy percent of production completed by hand, no two pairs are identical. Each shoe carries the subtle variations of artisanal work, supported by fair trade practices. A portion of every sale contributes to tree plantations in the Amazon through the Curupira Project, linking the wearer’s routine to broader environmental stewardship.

The TaygraHigh-Top was specially designed with a bootie-style cut that provides stability to the ankle for the more serious dancers, or for those just looking for added support in their turns and twists.
The bottom sole and base of the TaygraHigh-Top is made from a durable, completely organic and recyclable injection-molded PVC. Unlike rubber, this non-porous sole generates little friction and is completely trace free no matter how hard or fast your feet are moving. The grooved bottom surface mimics the feel of suede, providing the balance between slip-to-spin performance while providing a sturdy grip that will keep you in full control.
These Taygras are also great for everyday wear, going out more!
