01AUTOMOTIVE PARTS

Secure the rear with precision fitment

The rear of your vehicle is where practicality meets security, a space that must close firmly after every journey. This tailgate lock actuator sits within the mechanism, ready to engage the latch with quiet confidence when you reach for the handle.

Designed for owners of the Sharan, Touareg and Alhambra, this component restores reliable locking action. It suits drivers who value a solid click and a secure trunk, eliminating the uncertainty of a loose or unresponsive lid.

02FITMENT

Precision matching for specific model years

Compatibility hinges on exact reference numbers rather than general brand alignment. This actuator is tailored for the Sharan and Alhambra platforms from 2011 onward, as well as the Touareg produced between 2011 and 2018. Before installation, verify that your existing part matches one of the listed OEM codes, such as 7P0827505N or 7P0827505G, to ensure the mechanical interface aligns perfectly with your vehicle’s chassis.

PERFORMANCE

High sensitivity for responsive locking

The actuator is engineered for high sensitivity, meaning it responds promptly to input signals from the key fob or interior switch. This responsiveness translates to a distinct, satisfying click as the tailgate secures. Owners will notice the immediate feedback, confirming the lock has engaged without needing to check repeatedly. It holds the lid firmly in place, offering peace of mind during transit or while parked.
