Swimerz 3/8 oz Lead Egg Sinker, 10 Pack

Unlike sinkers cast from recycled material, these are machine-made from pure lead. This process ensures every unit has identical dimensions, with smooth bores, sides, and edges that resist snagging. The consistency matters when you are setting up a delicate rig; you know exactly how the weight will behave in the water, eliminating variables in your presentation.

The egg shape is not merely aesthetic; it is functional. Compared to ball sinkers, the elongated form slips through underwater vegetation and structural hazards more easily. It sits flat on the bottom, keeping your bait or lure positioned naturally rather than hovering awkwardly. This design is particularly effective for weedless soft plastic rigs, allowing the tackle to navigate complex terrain without getting hung up.

A critical feature is the central hole, which allows the fishing line to move freely through the sinker. When a fish picks up the bait, there is minimal resistance from the weight itself. This lack of drag encourages a more confident take, as the fish does not feel the sudden pull of the sinker dragging across the bottom. It is a subtle but vital detail for catching wary fish.

The pack includes ten 3/8 oz sinkers, providing ample supply for multiple trips or different rods. The packing carton measures 12 x 7 x 1 cm and weighs 0.15 kg, making it easy to store in a tackle box or gear bag. While available in other weights, the 3/8 oz size offers a light option suitable for finesse techniques where heavy lead might spook the target species.
