MATERIALS
Durable EVA and robust nylon construction
The core of this protector is a sheet of high-quality EVA foam, chosen for its ability to absorb shock without losing its shape over time. This resilient material is encased in a tough nylon outer layer, which resists abrasion from repeated contact with helmets and surfaces. The combination ensures the piece remains structurally sound through countless seasons of rigorous use, maintaining its integrity even after frequent washing.
FIT
Secure positioning with adjustable Velcro straps
Rather than relying on elastic tension alone, this item uses sturdy Velcro closures to lock the protector firmly in place. You can fine-tune the tightness to match your specific head circumference, ensuring the padding stays exactly where you need it during sudden stops or collisions. This adjustability prevents shifting, so the cushioning remains aligned with key impact zones throughout the game.
DIMENSIONS
Compact profile measuring 44 by 34 centimetres
In its flat state, the protector spans 44 centimetres in length and 34 centimetres in width, with a thickness of just 1.6 centimetres. These figures describe the product itself, not the packaging carton. The slim profile means it adds minimal bulk under a standard helmet, preserving your natural range of motion while still providing a substantial barrier between your skull and the hard shell above.
APPLICATION
Versatile support for hockey, rugby and skating
While designed for general head protection, this piece excels in sports where impacts are frequent and varied. Hockey players benefit from the extra layer during scrums, while rugby athletes appreciate the added cushioning in tackles. Skaters find it useful for preventing minor bumps from becoming significant issues. It serves as a universal upgrade for any activity involving potential head contact.
