01GARDENING TOOLS
Know when to water
Tucked into the potting mix beside your favourite houseplant, this compact sensor works quietly in the background. It turns the subtle shifts in soil moisture and air temperature into clear, accessible data, removing the guesswork from daily plant care.
Designed for gardeners who prefer precision over habit, it pairs with your phone to provide real-time updates. Whether you are tending to a single succulent or a full collection, it ensures every plant receives water only when it truly needs it.
02MATERIALS
Compact design for any pot
The device is small enough to fit alongside most indoor plants without disrupting their aesthetic. Its slightly waterproof body is designed to sit near the root zone, though it should not be submerged or exposed to direct rain. The form factor prioritises ease of insertion into the soil while maintaining a low profile that blends into the home environment.
IN USE
Real-time monitoring via app
Using Bluetooth connectivity, the meter syncs with the Smart Life application on both iOS and Android devices. This allows for remote monitoring, so you can check soil conditions from anywhere in your home. The interface provides immediate feedback on humidity levels, ranging from zero to one hundred percent, helping you understand exactly how dry or moist the substrate has become.
PRACTICAL DETAILS
Long battery life and setup
Powered by two AAA batteries, which are not included, the unit offers a standby time of eight to twelve months. A low power reminder alerts you before the energy runs out, preventing unexpected downtime. Setup involves a long press to initiate network pairing, and the back cover houses a button to switch readings between Celsius and Fahrenheit as preferred.
INTEGRATION
Voice control and smart linkage
Compatible with Alexa and Google Home, the meter integrates into existing smart home ecosystems. This enables voice commands for checking soil status, adding a layer of convenience to routine care. Furthermore, intelligent linkage features allow the system to automate irrigation, triggering watering based on specific temperature and humidity thresholds you define.
