The metal band is approximately 1.3″ wide x 3.7″ long. Bolts and Locknuts: Hex bolts are 5/16-18 x 1″ coarse thread with 5/16-18 locknuts (installed with 1/2″ wrench and socket). The package also includes 9 self-locking screws, all screws are made of high quality metal materials. Function: This snow blower impeller conversion kit reduces the existing “gap” between the snow blower impeller blade and the impeller chamber wall. The smaller the space, the higher the machine’s operating efficiency and snow-throwing capacity, and the less likely it is to become clogged with snow.
