01HARD DRIVES
Twenty Gigabits Through A Single Port
Tucked discreetly behind the side panel of a modern desktop, this expansion card transforms a standard PCI Express slot into a high-bandwidth gateway for your peripherals. It sits quietly within the chassis, ready to handle the demands of contemporary storage and input devices.
The Simplecom EC318v2 provides a single USB-C interface capable of 20Gbps throughput, ideal for users who require rapid file transfers or low-latency connections. It suits builders upgrading existing towers or those constructing new systems that demand maximum peripheral performance.

02CONNECTIVITY
High-Speed USB-C Interface
The card features a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface, enabling data transfer rates of up to 20Gbps through a single USB-C port. This high bandwidth is particularly useful for connecting external solid-state drives, high-resolution displays, or other peripherals that benefit from reduced latency and faster throughput.
COMPATIBILITY
Flexible Slot Requirements
Designed for versatility, the card occupies a PCIe x4 lane but remains fully functional when installed in larger x8 or x16 slots. This flexibility allows it to fit into a wide range of motherboard layouts, from compact form factors to full-size ATX boards, ensuring broad applicability across different system builds.
SETUP
Effortless Plug-and-Play Installation
Installation requires no manual driver configuration on Windows operating systems, where the hardware is recognised automatically upon boot. The absence of external power cables simplifies the process, allowing users to focus on cable management and airflow rather than complex wiring tasks during assembly.
