01DRUMS
Layered rhythm in hand-held pairs
Two small, dark forms resting on a music stand or shelf, these Asalato shakers invite a tactile approach to rhythm. Their compact scale makes them easy to hold, shake and set aside, fitting naturally into a practice room or a creative corner.
Designed for percussive play, the pair allows for overlapping beats and polyrhythmic patterns. They suit musicians exploring texture, educators guiding young learners, or anyone seeking a simple instrument that responds directly to the hand.
02MATERIALS
Durable ABS construction with rope handles
The body is moulded from ABS, a robust plastic that holds its shape through repeated use. This material choice ensures the shaker remains lightweight yet sturdy, suitable for frequent handling. The grip incorporates climbing rope, adding a textural contrast to the smooth shell and providing secure purchase for fingers during extended playing sessions.
04INCLUSION
A pair for polyrhythmic exploration
The set includes two identical Asalato units, enabling the player to create complex rhythms by alternating or synchronising the shakes. This dual configuration supports the development of coordination and timing. While the product description notes random colour variations within the black theme, the consistent form factor ensures both hands feel equally balanced.
