An infrared sensor detects when you move within twenty-five to thirty centimetres of the glass. The six-watt LED array switches on automatically, eliminating the need to fumble for switches while holding makeup tools. Once you step away, the light fades out after six to eight seconds, conserving energy and maintaining a calm, uncluttered atmosphere.
