02MATERIALS
Organic dye for stable recording
The core of each disc is a premium organic dye, chosen for its reliability in capturing data. This material works with a 650nm wavelength to ensure that what you burn remains legible over time. The construction uses two layers, effectively doubling the space available on a standard single-layer disc.
DESIGN
Printable surfaces for custom labels
The top surface is finished in a smooth whitetop, specifically prepared for inkjet printers. This allows for crisp, durable text or graphics directly on the disc face. A shiny silver monochrome option is also available, offering a different aesthetic while maintaining the same functional base.

Dimensions and package contents
Each disc measures 120mm in diameter and 1.2mm in thickness, comprising two 0.6mm layers. The product arrives in a compact carton measuring 26 x 17 x 9 cm, weighing approximately 1kg. Using RITEK’s high quality & reliable organic dye for the recording material, DVD+R DL holds up to 8.5GB of data — almost double the storage capacity of conventional DVD+R disc. The two layers allow the disc to be read or recorded on one side without turning over the disc. DL media is ideal for large capacity video recording, MP3 audio archiving, data/files backup, DVD-ROM backup, etc!
