01CUSHIONS & THROWS
Striped comfort for the alfresco table
Outdoor dining often lacks the softness of indoor seating, leaving guests perched on hard surfaces. These Rans cushion pads introduce a layer of tactile ease to your alfresco setup, transforming bare chairs into inviting seats.
The set comprises two square pads designed to fit standard dining chairs. With their bold horizontal stripes and secure side ties, they suit those who value both visual rhythm and practical stability in their garden or patio space.

02DESIGN
Bold stripes in three distinct tones
Each pad features a graphic horizontal stripe pattern that brings structure to the outdoor setting. The range offers three specific colourways: a classic blue and white, a softer neutral grey and white, and a sharp, modern black and white contrast. This variety allows you to match the cushions to your existing outdoor decor or create a deliberate visual statement.
FUNCTION
Secure tie keeps pads firmly in place
A common frustration with loose chair pads is sliding during movement. To solve this, each Rans pad includes a tie on one side. This strap loops around the chair back or rail, anchoring the cushion securely so it stays exactly where you placed it. It is a simple mechanical detail that prevents shifting during meals or conversation.
FIT
Standard 40 centimetre square format
Measuring 40 x 40 cm, these pads are sized to accommodate most standard dining chair seats. The square format provides balanced coverage, ensuring the sitter has adequate support across the width and depth of the chair. Before purchasing, verify your chair dimensions to ensure a snug and appropriate fit for your specific furniture.

About this product
If you’ve got outdoor dining chairs that could use a bit of a refresh, these Rans Set of 2 Alfresco Stripe Chair Cushion Pads 40 x 40 cm are a straightforward way to get there. The design features bold horizontal stripes. Each cushion has a tie on one side, which loops around a chair back or rail to keep the pad from sliding around during use.
The three colourways each bring a slightly different feel to the table. The blue and white is the most classic. The grey and white is the softest and most neutral. The black and white is the sharpest contrast of the range and gives a more graphic, modern look to an outdoor dining space.
