01UMBRELLAS & SUNSHADES
Breathable protection for outdoor dining
Set a cake on the picnic blanket and lift the frame; the fine mesh rises into a dome, holding back the buzz of midges while letting the summer breeze touch the surface. It is a quiet guardian for desserts and main courses alike.
These Pop-Up umbrellas suit campers, garden hosts and anyone who values fresh air over sealed containers. The design prioritises visibility and ventilation, ensuring food remains appealing without trapping humidity.
02MATERIALS
Polyester mesh woven for clarity
The cover is constructed from breathable polyester, chosen for its ability to filter light and air simultaneously. The fine weave creates a visual barrier against insects without the heavy opacity of solid fabric, allowing guests to see the presentation beneath. This material choice supports the product’s core function: keeping pests out while maintaining an open, airy feel around the food.
FUNCTION
Bottomless design for easy access
Lacking a base, the umbrella sits directly on the plate or tray, creating a seamless transition between the container and the screen. This bottomless profile prevents condensation pooling underneath and makes lifting the cover effortless when serving. The structure relies on tension rather than rigid legs, allowing it to conform slightly to different dish shapes while maintaining its protective dome shape.
PRACTICALITY
Three covers in a compact set
The pack includes three identical units, each measuring 32 by 18 centimetres. This size is calibrated for standard medium plates and small cakes, offering sufficient coverage without overwhelming smaller portions. After use, the frames collapse into a flat profile, making them simple to stack in a camping kit or slide into a kitchen drawer. The included plastic covers add a secondary layer for longer storage periods.
SETTING
At home in the garden
The green colourway is selected to recede against foliage, making the screens less obtrusive during alfresco meals. They are suited to picnics, barbecue gatherings and quiet afternoons at the summer house. Because they do not require electricity or complex assembly, they integrate smoothly into spontaneous outdoor dining, ready to deploy whenever the sun sets and insects begin to stir.
