01BEDS & BED FRAMES
Solid pine base in breathable sand linen
The Palermo Queen Bed Base presents a quiet, contemporary presence in the bedroom, its sand-hued linen surface offering a soft visual counterpoint to solid wood tones.
Built from solid pine and high-density foam, this base supports the mattress with structured comfort. It suits those who value practical elegance and require a bed that can be assembled, moved or disassembled without strain.
02MATERIALS
Pine structure beneath premium linen
The foundation is a solid pine timber frame, chosen for its stability and natural grain. Over this sits a layer of high-density foam, which provides a cushioned platform for the mattress. The entire assembly is wrapped in a breathable linen fabric in Platinum Natural Sand, creating a tactile, matte surface that feels refined yet approachable.
04FUNCTION
Glided feet and floor clearance
Eleven feet, each fitted with a glide, support the base, allowing it to slide smoothly across flooring surfaces. This feature simplifies adjusting the bed’s position or cleaning underneath. With ten centimetres of clearance between the frame and the floor, the piece maintains an airy profile that prevents the bedroom from feeling cramped.
05DIMENSIONS
Australian queen size specifications
Measuring 153 by 203 by 35 centimetres, the base conforms to Australian Queen standards. When packed for transport, all parts consolidate into a single compact carton measuring 192 by 40 by 55.5 centimetres. The total weight of the packaged unit is 36.5 kilograms, making it manageable for two people to carry through standard doorways.
