01NIGHT LIGHTS & AMBIENT LIGHTING
Sculptural light for the modern ceiling
This VIKUS chandelier brings the energy of a sputnik design into the home, its eight arms radiating from a central hub to cast light in multiple directions. The matte black finish grounds the piece, offering a sleek contrast against white walls or dark timber ceilings.
It suits those who prefer architectural lighting that serves as both illumination and art. The semi-flush profile keeps it close to the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms where a hanging pendant might feel too heavy or intrusive.
02DESIGN
Radiating geometry in matte black
The fixture adopts the iconic sputnik silhouette, with eight distinct lamp bases extending outward. Four of these are on fixed-length rods, while the other four sit on adjustable arms that can be rotated to your desired angle. This asymmetry allows you to tailor the spread of light, creating a dynamic visual rhythm rather than a static circle.
04DIMENSIONS
Compact footprint, wide visual reach
With an overall diameter of 81 centimetres, the piece makes a statement despite its semi-flush mounting. The fixture itself stands 29 centimetres high, sitting comfortably below standard ceiling heights. The canopy measures 15 centimetres, ensuring a neat transition between the ceiling and the fixture body, keeping the installation visually tidy.
05COMPATIBILITY
Flexible bulb options for varied moods
The eight sockets accept standard E27 base bulbs, giving you freedom to choose between warm Edison filaments, bright incandescent sources, or efficient CFLs. When paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible switch, the fixture supports full dimming capabilities, allowing you to adjust the intensity from bright task lighting to soft ambient glow.
