02MATERIALS
Coir fibre meets heavy duty rubber
The surface is woven from coir fibre, a material known for its coarse, fibrous nature that effectively traps dirt and grit underfoot. Beneath this layer lies a heavy-duty rubber base, providing the necessary grip to keep the mat firmly in place on smooth flooring. This combination ensures the piece remains functional as well as decorative.
DESIGN
Black print on a natural ground
The visual language is defined by a black print set against a natural background colour. This contrast highlights the intricate patterns typical of French Provincial styling, creating a sophisticated look that complements traditional or rustic interiors. The 2 cm height adds a tactile dimension to the entryway without creating a significant tripping hazard.
DIMENSIONS
Generous width for two-way traffic
At 90 centimetres long and 45 centimetres wide, the mat offers ample space for shoes to be wiped clean before entering. The weight of 2 kg contributes to its stability, preventing it from sliding when stepped on. These proportions make it suitable for standard doorways where a larger footprint is desirable for thorough cleaning.
