Alternative tones on a physical disc
A compact disc that holds more than just audio; it is an object with its own presence on the shelf. The Kudos Surf City album arrives in a multi-coloured package, ready to be placed beside other favourites or tucked into a bag for listening on the go.
This physical media piece suits those who prefer the ritual of handling a record to pressing play. It offers a tangible connection to the alternative sounds within, serving as both a listening experience and a small decorative element in your space.

FORMAT
The tangible advantage of a CD
In an era of streaming, this album returns to the physical medium. The disc itself is a specific object, distinct from the intangible files on a server. Holding the jewel case provides a sense of ownership that digital libraries often lack. It is a deliberate choice for listeners who appreciate the materiality of their music collection.
PACKAGING
Compact dimensions for easy storage
The packing carton measures 18 by 15 by 8 centimetres, making it a modest footprint in any bookshelf or drawer. With a total weight of approximately one kilogram, it is light enough to carry without effort but substantial enough to feel like a proper item rather than a flimsy pamphlet. These figures describe the outer carton, not the disc alone.
VISUALS
Multi-coloured aesthetic appeal
Described as multi-coloured, the album’s presentation suggests a vibrant cover design that catches the eye. This visual variety adds to the charm of the physical object, distinguishing it from the uniform black discs of standard releases. It invites curiosity before the first note is even played, engaging the viewer as much as the listener.
GENRE
Rooted in the alternative tradition
Categorised under Alternative music, this release aligns with a genre known for its diversity and artistic freedom. It appeals to those who seek sounds that sit outside the mainstream pop landscape. Whether you are a dedicated collector of indie records or simply enjoy exploring new musical territories, this title fits naturally into a varied collection.
