01ACTIVITY TOYS
Shaded play in solid timber
A sturdy square of timber set into the garden, this sandpit offers a dedicated space for small hands to dig and build. The grey canopy stretches overhead, filtering the harsh midday sun while allowing light to filter through.
Designed for outdoor use, it keeps sand contained and weeds out via an internal liner. It suits families who want a durable, low-maintenance play area that withstands daily use.
02MATERIALS
Solid fir with certified sourcing
The frame is constructed from 12mm-thick fir wood, sourced under FSC certification to ensure responsible forestry practices. This substantial timber provides a robust structure capable of supporting the weight of active children and the tension of the overhead canopy. The natural grain adds a warm, tactile quality to the piece.

About this product
Sandpits are a popular toy as ever, but use of it can often be restricted by the sun's harsh UV rays.
A sandpit with a canopy is the ideal way to tackle this problem such as our Kids Wooden Toy Sandpit with Adjustable Canopy. The grey, UV-protected canopy shades children from the sun (and perhaps rain!), whilst they play in the charming wooden sandbox underneath.
An internal ground sheet keeps the sand in place, permits water drainage (bugs enjoy making a home in damp sand), and prevents grass and weeds from growing into the play area. Your children will have hours of fun, without having to suffer from sunburn afterwards!
