01DRUMS
Quiet precision for the modern drummer
The Karrera TDX-16 transforms a spare corner into a dedicated practice space. Its compact frame holds three toms, a snare, and three cymbals in a configuration that feels substantial yet unobtrusive.
Designed for players who need dynamic range without disturbing neighbours, this kit offers 144 distinct sounds and a metronome. It suits students refining technique or producers capturing clean MIDI data.
02MATERIALS
Durable pipes and responsive mesh surfaces
The hardware relies on sturdy assembly pipes, rods and joints to maintain stability during vigorous playing. Each drum head is constructed from mesh, providing a tactile resistance similar to acoustic skins while significantly lowering decibel output. This material choice allows for expressive ghost notes and rimshots without the projection typical of metal shells.
04CONNECTIVITY
Direct USB MIDI and audio routing
A USB Type B MIDI port facilitates direct communication with digital audio workstations, capturing note velocity and timing accurately. For analog monitoring, the kit features a 3.5mm audio cable and amplifier output. An AUX input allows external sources to be monitored through the headphones included in the package.
05DETAILS
Complete setup with stool and pedals
The package includes an adjustable stool, ensuring ergonomic comfort during extended sessions. Two pedals are provided: one for the hi-hat and another for the virtual kick drum, eliminating the need for a large bass drum shell. The entire system fits within a 74 by 45 by 31 cm carton, weighing 17.7 kg for manageable transport.
