01CARAVAN ACCESSORIES
Smooth rebound on the Kahuna mat
The backyard takes on a new rhythm when the surface beneath your feet feels right. This round mat transforms the familiar frame into a responsive platform, ready for morning stretches or evening play.
Designed for 14-foot trampolines, this black polypropylene replacement offers a smooth, durable surface that handles repeated impact without losing its shape or grip.
02MATERIALS
High-strength woven polypropylene
The fabric is constructed from high-strength polypropylene, chosen for its resilience and ability to breathe during use. This composition lowers air resistance, particularly on the rebound, allowing energy to transfer efficiently into each jump rather than dissipating against a stiff barrier.
SURFACE
Hot-rolled finish reduces friction
After weaving, the mat undergoes a hot-rolling process that creates a smooth, uniform surface. This anti-graze treatment minimises the friction often felt on standard mats, ensuring that legs slide smoothly across the fabric rather than catching, which enhances comfort during extended sessions.
CONSTRUCTION
Durable eight-stitch outer seam
The perimeter is reinforced with a robust eight-stitch seam, a construction detail designed to withstand significant stress over time. Galvanised steel spring loops are integrated to hold the mat securely in place, providing a stable connection between the fabric and the underlying support structure.
FIT
Precise dimensions for compatibility
This 380-centimetre diameter mat is tailored specifically for 14-foot trampolines. To ensure a perfect fit, the existing setup must utilise 96 springs, each measuring 165 millimetres in unstretched length. Verifying these specific metrics before installation ensures the mat sits flush and functions as intended.
AT A GLANCE
The key points
- Hot-rolled polypropylene weave resists skin grazing
- 8-stitch seam secures the outer rim
- Requires 96 springs at 165mm length
- 380cm diameter suits 14ft trampolines
About this product
These mats are manufactured using the highest strength polypropylene mat fabric. This gives a very high strength while still allowing the mat to ‘breathe’ with lower air resistance for better bounce, this design greatly reduces air resistance, especially on the rebound!
These mats are hot-rolled after weaving to give the mat a smooth feel. This reduces the skin-grazing effect experienced on many other cheaper quality mats.
These mats are built to last, with a durable, strong 8-stitch seam around the outer edge which will survive the toughest punishment you throw at it for years without coming undone!
IMPORTANT: ensure your trampoline uses the same number and size of springs, springs are not included. Spring length is measured without the spring stretched.
