02DESIGN
A sculptural curve that wraps around you
The defining feature of the Merlo is its softly curved backrest, which flows seamlessly into the generous seat. This continuous line eliminates sharp edges, creating a visual and physical embrace. The shape is not merely decorative; it positions the sitter centrally, ensuring the backrest supports the spine while the armrests offer a place to rest hands naturally.
04IN USE
Effortless movement on a solid base
The swivel mechanism allows for smooth, quiet rotation, making it easy to shift position or turn towards a conversation partner without standing up. This functionality is supported by a solid internal construction, which provides the necessary weight and stability to prevent wobbling. The result is a chair that feels secure and grounded, yet agile enough to adapt to the flow of your day.
