01SIDE TABLES
Bold lines in solid Mindi timber
The Hudson Console Table presents a study in restraint, its black finish absorbing light while the solid Mindi timber offers a tactile counterpoint of warmth and grain. It stands as a quiet anchor in entryways or behind sofas, where its architectural presence commands attention without demanding space.
Designed for compact living, this piece provides a stable surface for daily essentials while concealing clutter within its single drawer. It suits those who value material honesty and clean lines in their interior design.
02MATERIALS
Solid Mindi timber construction
Constructed entirely from solid Mindi timber, the console avoids veneers or particleboard in favour of substantial, dense wood. The black finish highlights the natural texture of the material, creating a surface that feels grounded and durable. This choice of core material ensures the piece has weight and presence, standing firm against the lighter, more ephemeral elements of a modern room.
04FUNCTION
Concealed storage and narrow depth
With a depth of just 32 centimetres, the console tucks neatly into narrow hallways or small residential settings where space is at a premium. An integrated drawer compartment, fitted with full extension rails, keeps keys, cords, and stationery out of sight. This practicality ensures the top surface remains clear for styling or daily use, maintaining the piece’s uncluttered aesthetic.
DETAILS
Stability and assembly considerations
Weighing 22 kilograms, the table possesses inherent stability, though it includes an anti-tip kit for secure wall anchoring. Assembly is minimal, requiring only basic tools to lock the components together. The unit should be placed on a level surface, with heavier items stored in lower sections to maintain balance. Regular checks of the anchors ensure long-term security in busy households.
