01VITAMINS & SUPPLEMENTS
A capybara that grows with you
A small, multi-coloured figure sits quietly on your desk or windowsill, waiting for its moment. It is not a static ornament but a living element of your daily environment, ready to change form at your command.
This MDI piece invites interaction through simple hydration. Place it in water, watch it swell over three days, then dry it out to start again. It suits anyone who appreciates whimsical, tactile objects that bring a touch of gentle absurdity to their routine.
THE PROCESS
Watching the transformation unfold
The experience begins with immersion. Submerge the compact figure in sufficient water and wait. Over the course of three days, the material absorbs moisture, expanding steadily until it reaches six times its initial volume. The process is slow enough to observe, turning a simple act of hydration into a quiet, meditative ritual.
REUSABILITY
Endless cycles of growth and rest
Unlike single-use novelties, this piece is designed for repetition. Once fully grown, allow it to dry completely. The structure remains intact, ready to be rehydrated for another cycle of expansion. This durability ensures the object remains a constant presence, evolving and returning without losing its character or charm.
PLACEMENT
A companion for quiet corners
Its modest footprint makes it ideal for surfaces that need a spark of personality. Set it beside a coffee cup on a desk, position it on a side table, or place it near a window where natural light highlights its multi-coloured tones. It occupies space lightly, adding a sense of playful companionship without demanding attention.
