Splitting Light Into Colour
A small cube of K9 optical glass sits quietly on a desk, yet it transforms ordinary daylight into a spectrum of colour. Its six polished faces catch the beam and scatter it, creating a kaleidoscopic display that shifts with every angle.
This piece serves as both an educational tool and a photographic filter. It suits those who appreciate the physics of light, whether conducting experiments or capturing images without digital editing.
02MATERIALS
Precision Cut Optical Glass
The cube is fashioned from K9 optical glass, a material chosen for its durability and resistance to scratching. Six sides are polished to a high standard, ensuring that light passes through with minimal distortion. The result is a clear, transparent object that maintains its brilliance over time, offering consistent visual performance whether used daily or stored away.

Sizing and Storage Options
The prism is available in three distinct sizes: 15, 20, and 25 millimetres per side. Each option fits comfortably in the palm, making it portable for fieldwork or travel. Buyers may select the cube alone or opt for a storage bag, which protects the delicate glass edges. Note that the bag option is sold separately from the glass itself.
