01BEDS & BED FRAMES
Solid timber platform for quiet mornings
The Gatsby bed base sits low and steady, its clean lines creating a grounded presence in the centre of the room. Whether finished in deep Walnut or light Natural, the solid timber construction offers a tactile warmth that anchors the space.
This platform frame supports your mattress with rigid slats, eliminating the need for a box spring. It suits those who prefer a minimalist aesthetic with substantial material quality, ready to accept any headboard you choose.
02MATERIALS
White Cedar with character
Constructed entirely from solid White Cedar, this frame avoids veneers or particle board in favour of dense, durable timber. The wood’s natural grain is visible, adding texture to the smooth surfaces. Two distinct finishes are available: a rich Walnut tone for depth, or a breezy Natural shade that highlights the pale hue of the cedar.
DIMENSIONS
Precise queen-sized proportions
Measuring 175.0 cm in width, 220.0 cm in depth, and 27.0 cm in height, the frame fits standard queen mattresses perfectly. There is 16.0 cm of clearance between the floor and the underside of the frame, allowing for easy cleaning underneath. The gross weight of 62.0 kg reflects the density of the solid timber used throughout.
ASSEMBLY
A canvas for your vision
Arriving as a kit requiring assembly, the Gatsby base is designed to be the foundational layer of your bed setup. It does not include a headboard, leaving that decision to you. This flexibility allows you to pair the solid timber base with a upholstered, wooden, or metal headboard that matches your specific interior style.
