Original Vinyl in a Wood Frame

This piece transforms a familiar album into a sculptural object for the wall. The original vinyl cover is presented in full, while the physical record emerges from its sleeve, adding depth and texture to the composition.

It suits those who appreciate the materiality of music. By framing the actual disc rather than a print, it invites closer inspection and offers a tangible connection to the sound within.

02MATERIALS

Wood Profiles and Archival Matting

The frame is constructed entirely from wood profiles, providing a warm, solid border that contrasts with the graphic intensity of the artwork. Inside, archival matting creates a clean visual separation between the frame edge and the album sleeve, ensuring the design remains the focal point without competing borders.

04DIMENSIONS

Substantial Scale for Wall Display

With outer framed dimensions of 75 cm by 47.5 cm, this piece commands attention as a significant statement on any wall. The packing carton measures 75 x 47.5 x 2.5 cm and weighs 2.25 kg, indicating a sturdy, well-protected package ready for installation in living spaces or studios.

CARE

Mindful Placement for Longevity

While the UV-filtering acrylic offers robust protection, the manufacturer advises avoiding direct sunlight to prevent moisture from affecting the inks. Placing the frame in an area with consistent, indirect light ensures the colours remain true and the vinyl stays in pristine condition for years of enjoyment.
