01FISHING TACKLE
Luminous lures for the vertical drop
The Rumoika jig is engineered for the quiet moments of vertical squid fishing, where visibility and stability are paramount. Its white glow finish cuts through dim water, offering a visual cue that aligns with how squid perceive their environment.
Each pack contains two lures, sized at 3.5 with a 20-gram weight. They are built for anglers who value durability and precise action, ensuring reliable performance from the first drop to the final strike.
DESIGN
Optimised for vertical stability
A vertical towing eye keeps the lure tracking straight as it descends, while a precision-placed keel weight delivers a realistic sink rate. This balance ensures the jig presents naturally in the water column, maintaining its orientation without drifting or spinning out of control.
MATERIALS
Durable resin and reflective mesh
The body is crafted from tough ABS resin infused with a lumo-glow effect, wrapped in reflective squid mesh. This combination enhances visibility in low light, leveraging the way squid detect ultraviolet light and bioluminescence to locate prey like crabs and prawns.
ACTION
Sound and sharpness combined
An internal ball bearing rattle creates subtle vibrations that mimic natural prey sounds, drawing attention in murky conditions. When a strike occurs, dual stainless steel crowns and hardened, super-sharp needles work together to ensure efficient and reliable hooking capability.
DETAILS
Practical features for the angler
Each pack holds two high-performance lures, measuring approximately 13 centimetres in length. A clip-on cover is included to protect the hook crown during storage and transport, keeping hands safe and hooks ready for the next session on the deck.
