FORMAT
The physical medium
Era Extana presents this work as a standard audio CD, a format that prioritises fidelity and ritual. The disc itself is a small, reflective circle, designed to be handled with care. Unlike a file on a screen, it occupies space in your hand, grounding the abstract nature of sound in a concrete, physical form.
VISUALS
Multi-toned presentation
The packaging features a multi-coloured design, avoiding the monotony of single-tone sleeves. This variety suggests a dynamic range within the music itself, hinting at shifts in mood and texture. The visual identity is integral to the product, offering a first impression that is bright and engaging before the needle drops or the laser reads.
SCALE
Compact dimensions
The outer carton measures 18 by 15 by 8 centimetres, a size that fits easily into a bag or a shelf slot. At roughly one kilogram, it is light enough to carry without effort yet substantial enough to feel like a proper acquisition. These figures describe the protective box, ensuring the disc arrives intact and ready for immediate playback.
