01UMBRELLAS & SUNSHADES
Gilded Edges for Lampshades
A slender ribbon of golden cloth, this edging strip transforms the perimeter of a lampshade into a deliberate design element. It sits flush against the material, offering a crisp, polished boundary that elevates the piece from functional fixture to curated object.
Designed for makers and decorators alike, the self-adhesive backing allows for smooth application without complex tools. It suits those seeking to refine existing shades or construct new ones with a touch of elegance.
02MATERIALS
Flexible Cloth with Golden Hue
The strip is constructed from a durable cloth material, dyed in a rich golden tone that catches the light differently than metallic foils. Its composition balances softness with structural integrity, ensuring it conforms to curved surfaces while maintaining its visual impact as a decorative border.
04DETAILS
Precise Dimensions and Roll Length
Each roll measures 600 centimetres in length, providing ample coverage for multiple fixtures. The width stands at 2 centimetres, a proportion that reads as a clean line rather than a broad band. With a thickness of just 0.01 centimetres, the tape remains virtually invisible in profile, preserving the shade's original silhouette.
SETTING
From Home to Commercial Spaces
While ideal for residential interiors where ambient lighting sets the mood, this edging also serves well in offices and commercial environments. It offers a practical solution for refreshing tired lampshades, bringing a cohesive, high-end aesthetic to waiting rooms, studios, or private studies.
