01MUSIC CDS
Classical vocal artistry on disc
A slender disc rests in its jewel case, the multi-coloured cover hinting at the range of voices within. It is an object designed for quiet attention, waiting to be placed on a shelf or slipped into a player.
This Decca Recordings release presents a collection of classical vocal works. It suits listeners who appreciate the nuance of human performance and prefer the tactile experience of physical media over streaming.

FORMAT
The tangible medium of music
The product is a compact disc, a format that prioritises the physical interaction with sound. The disc itself is a precise engineering of polycarbonate, holding audio data in microscopic pits that a laser reads. This tangible nature distinguishes it from digital files, offering a specific ritual of handling and playback.
PACKAGING
Carton dimensions and weight
The item arrives in a packing carton measuring 18 by 15 by 8 centimetres. The total weight of this outer container is one kilogram. These figures describe the logistics of the shipment rather than the slim profile of the disc case itself, which is significantly lighter and thinner.
AESTHETICS
Visual identity of the release
The artwork is described as multi-coloured, suggesting a vibrant or varied visual presentation on the cover. This design choice signals the diversity of the vocal repertoire contained within, moving beyond monochromatic minimalism to offer a more dynamic visual cue for the listener.
