01OTTOMANS & FOOTSTOOLS
A Historical Footstool in Leather
This ottoman sits quietly in the corner of a study or beside a reading chair, its cylindrical silhouette echoing the early days of cycling. The piece carries a specific historical marker, grounding modern interiors in a tangible past.
It serves as a footrest or an extra seat, suited to those who appreciate craftsmanship and narrative in their furniture. The materials are honest, offering a tactile contrast between the smoothness of leather and the weave of canvas.

02DESIGN
Inspired by Early Parisian Bicycles
The design references the first true bicycle created in Paris in the early 1860s. By attaching rotary cranks to the front wheel hub of a dandy-horse, inventors set a precedent that this piece recalls. The marking of 1862 on the surface anchors the object in that specific moment of mechanical history, making it more than just a functional item.
