01REPTILE & AMPHIBIAN HABITAT ACCESSORIES

Soft crocheted companion for your reptile

Tucked into a corner of the enclosure or resting on a warm rock, this crocheted monkey adds a touch of character to any habitat. Its textured surface invites exploration, providing a visual focal point that breaks up the monotony of glass and substrate.

Designed for young reptiles, it serves as a gentle enrichment tool. The soft form allows animals to interact with their environment through touch, suiting species that enjoy investigating new objects within their secure territory.

MATERIALS

Textured crochet construction

Crafted from crocheted material, the toy presents a varied surface texture distinct from smooth plastic or rigid wood. This tactile diversity encourages sensory engagement, allowing reptiles to explore different sensations as they move around the enclosure. The yarn-based composition offers a flexible structure that conforms slightly to the animal's movements.

DIMENSIONS

Proportionate scale for small habitats

The product measures 10 x 15 x 20 cm, a size calibrated for smaller enclosures or younger specimens. It occupies enough space to be noticed without overwhelming the available floor area or climbing structures. The packaging carton is slightly larger at 20 x 15 x 15 cm, ensuring the item arrives securely nested within its protective box.

FUNCTION

Enrichment through tactile interaction

Serving as a static enrichment element, the monkey provides a point of interest for observation and physical contact. Young reptiles often display curiosity towards novel objects, and this soft form allows them to nudge, climb over, or rest near the item safely. It supports natural behaviours by adding complexity to the visual landscape of the terrarium.
