A great album from CLOUD RAT
FORMAT
Physical media for modern ears
In an age of ephemeral streams, this album offers a concrete anchor. The compact disc format provides a direct connection to the sound, free from digital compression artefacts or algorithmic suggestions. It is a deliberate choice for the listener who values the tactile experience of holding their music.
PACKAGING
A modest carton for a bold record
The album travels in a protective carton measuring 18 x 15 x 8 cm, weighing 1 kg in total. This packaging ensures the disc arrives safely, preserving the integrity of the vinyl-like aesthetic within. The dimensions are practical for storage, fitting easily into standard shelving units without dominating the space.
VISUALS
Multi-toned artwork on the sleeve
The cover art employs a multi-colour palette, avoiding the monotony of single-tone designs. This visual variety adds to the unboxing experience, offering a glimpse of the artistic direction inside. The sleeve serves not just as protection but as a decorative element that reflects the diverse sonic landscape of the Cloud Rat catalogue.
