Seamless control for your TCL screen
The Chunghop remote sits quietly in the hand, a slender tool that bridges the gap between you and the image on the wall. It is designed to slot seamlessly into an existing living room routine, requiring no technical intervention to begin working.
This multi-function controller manages most TCL displays, from standard HD to Ultra HD formats. It suits households seeking a straightforward solution after a lost or faulty original remote, offering immediate functionality without the need for manual configuration.
COMPATIBILITY
Broad reach across TCL display technologies
Engineered for versatility, this unit communicates with a wide spectrum of TCL televisions. It handles LCD, LED, Smart, Plasma, Ultra HD and HDTV models alike. The design prioritises broad compatibility over specific model exclusivity, making it a practical choice for mixed-brand households or those upgrading their viewing equipment over time.
FUNCTION
Immediate operation without initial programming
Unlike many universal remotes that require inputting specific codes, this device works upon first use. There is no waiting for signal acquisition or navigating through menus to find the correct frequency. You press a button, and the television responds, streamlining the process of turning the screen on or adjusting volume to suit the moment.
PRACTICALITY
Simple power source and effective range
Powered by two standard AAA batteries, which are not included in the pack, the remote maintains low energy consumption. Its infrared signal reaches approximately eight metres, though actual distance may vary slightly depending on the specific television model. This range comfortably covers a typical lounge setting, allowing you to operate the TV from the far end of the sofa.
LIMITATIONS
A note on digital guide access
While the remote controls core functions such as power, volume and channel selection effectively, it may not replicate every feature of the original manufacturer’s unit. Specifically, access to the digital TV guide might be limited compared to the proprietary remote. For basic viewing, however, it provides all necessary commands with reliable precision.
