Bed and bedding size guide

Size guide

Beds and bedding

Check your mattress size, then its depth: fitted sheets need a pocket deeper than the mattress, and quilt covers match the quilt inside them.

  1. Width across the top of the mattress, side to side.
  2. Length from the head end to the foot end.
  3. Depth from the top of the mattress to the base, including any topper. Choose a sheet pocket about 5 cm deeper.
Bed size Mattress W × L Quilt / cover W × L

Museum flowers in gold sateen

The bedroom becomes a gallery when this quilt cover unfurls across the bed. The design draws directly from the Van Gogh Museum’s collection, presenting a bouquet of cut flowers that feel freshly arranged against a rich, golden backdrop.

Crafted from cotton sateen, the set offers a smooth, substantial drape that suits both Queen and King beds. It is designed for those who appreciate artistic heritage and desire a vivid, textured focal point in their sleeping space.

02DESIGN

A bouquet from the museum archive

This pattern celebrates the Van Gogh Museum’s fiftieth anniversary by gathering floral motifs from its own holdings. Irises, peonies, delphiniums, asters, gladioli, sunflowers and almond blossoms appear in a dense, all-over print. The colours range through orange, yellow, white, green, red, brown, blue, purple, pink and grey, creating a complex visual rhythm that echoes Vincent’s own brushwork.

03MATERIALS

Lustrous cotton sateen construction

Woven from cotton sateen, the fabric possesses a distinct sheen that catches light differently than standard percale or flannel. This weave provides a smooth hand-feel and a weight that drapes cleanly over the mattress. The material is durable enough to withstand frequent laundering while retaining its structural integrity and colour depth over time.

04DETAILS

Reversible golden-yellow underside

While the top surface bursts with floral detail, the reverse side presents a solid golden-yellow field. This allows the bedding to be flipped for a more subdued, monochromatic look without losing the warmth of the palette. The contrast between the busy print and the calm solid back adds versatility to the room's aesthetic.

PRACTICALITY

Generous sizing and easy care

Available in Queen (210cm x 210cm) and King (245cm x 210cm), the set includes one quilt cover and two standard pillowcases measuring 48cm x 73cm. Care is straightforward: the cotton sateen tolerates washing at up to 60 degrees, is suitable for tumble drying, and irons easily, ensuring the crispness of the folds remains intact after cleaning.

About this product

The design of the Van Gogh Partout des Fleurs Gold Cotton Sateen Quilt Cover Set by Bedding House echoes the Bouquet d’Anniversaire. This bouquet is a treat from the Van Gogh Museum, and therefore from Vincent himself, in honour of the museum’s 50th anniversary. This golden jubilee will be celebrated with a beautiful bouquet of cut flowers hailing from various flower paintings in the museum’s own collection. For example, you can find flowers from the paintings: Irises, Small Bottle with Peonies and Blue Delphinium, Vase with Chinese Asters and Gladioli, Sunflowers and, of course, the classic Almond Blossoms printed in orange, yellow, white, green, red, brown, blue, purple, pink, and grey colour tones. These cut flowers are placed on a golden-coloured background, making the colourful, all-over design stand out beautifully. The underside of the quilt cover has a solid golden-yellow colour. This is a unique design for a unique moment in the history of Van Gogh and the Van Gogh Museum.
