01CURTAINS & DRAPES
Soft black linen for bright windows
A pair of black flax linen valances sits lightly above the glass, filtering the harsh midday sun into a softer, more diffuse glow. The open weave texture adds a tactile layer to the room without weighing down the space.
These short curtains are designed for bathrooms and kitchens where you want light but not full exposure. They suit those who prefer a relaxed, breathable atmosphere over heavy drapery.
02MATERIALS
Open weave flax linen construction
The fabric is crafted from an open weave flax linen, a choice that prioritises airflow and light transmission. This structure allows daylight to pass through while maintaining a visual barrier, creating a soft, cosy ambiance rather than a stark blackout effect.
04FUNCTION
Balancing light and privacy
While semi-transparent, the valance provides a degree of privacy by blurring the interior view from outside. It prevents direct exposure to the public eye, making it suitable for spaces like bedrooms or living areas where subtle seclusion is desired during the day.
