Wind and hands meet in bamboo
Suspended in a quiet corner or near an open window, this bamboo xylophone waits for the breeze. Its slender bars catch the air, producing a soft, resonant hum that settles into the room without demanding attention.
Equally suited to active play, it invites small hands to strike the bars with the provided tools. This piece serves as both ambient decor and a tactile musical toy for young explorers.

MATERIALS
Natural bamboo construction
The entire structure is formed from bamboo, a material known for its lightness and inherent strength. The bars are cut to precise lengths, allowing each to vibrate freely when struck or moved by air currents. The finish remains true to the wood, highlighting the grain and texture rather than masking it with heavy coatings.
FUNCTION
Two modes of sound creation
This instrument operates on two distinct principles. Left to hang, it acts as a wind chime, where gusts pass through the frame and set the bars into motion. Alternatively, using the included striking tools, a player can tap specific bars to create deliberate melodies. The transition between passive ambience and active performance is seamless.
