The kit includes the main lamp, two candler covers and a dedicated power adapter. It operates on standard 240V AC power, drawing 3.2V at 300mA through the supplied cable. Note that the unit is not rechargeable; it must remain connected to a power outlet while in use. The packing carton weighs approximately 0.3 kg, ensuring easy storage when not in active service.

An egg candler is a device used for testing and monitoring eggs safely. Candling eggs is a method of testing eggs while they are incubating to determine if they are viable or not. “Viable” means that the egg is fertilised and an embryo is able to develop and hatch.
An egg is viable if dark spots and veins are visible when viewing with the tester.
Please Note: This is not a rechargeable device, and it needs to be connected to power whilst in use.
