01FISHING TACKLE

Silver flash for the water

A bundle of silver threads that catches the sun just enough to catch the eye. In the tackle box, these strands wait quietly, ready to transform a standard fly into something that shimmers as it moves through the current.

Designed for anglers who build their own patterns, this material adds visual appeal to skirted rigs. It suits those targeting Trout, GTs or Snapper, offering a practical way to enhance lure durability and attract fish with a gentle, flashing presence.

Artizan Krystal Flash Strands, Silver, 3 pack

MATERIAL

Twisted mylar for subtle reflection

The core of this product is twisted mylar, a material chosen specifically for its ability to reflect light without overwhelming the eye. This construction provides a delicate sparkle rather than a harsh glare, ensuring the flash remains natural against the water’s surface. The silver tone offers a versatile base that complements many fly colour combinations, adding depth and movement to your presentation.

DIMENSIONS

Forty centimetres of flexible length

Each strand measures approximately 400mm in length. They are cable tied in the centre and folded in half, which effectively doubles the usable length when tied onto a hook. This format allows for generous skirts on larger predator flies, providing ample material to create impressive flash while maintaining the flexibility needed for realistic underwater movement.

PRACTICALITY

Three bundles for ample supply

The pack contains three distinct bundles, providing a sufficient quantity for multiple tying sessions or a variety of pattern experiments. The compact packaging, measuring 12 by 7 by 1 cm, keeps the strands organised and protected from tangles before they reach the vise. This format ensures you have enough material to test different lengths and densities without running out mid-project.
