01PET GROOMING SUPPLIES

A shimmering curtain of blue bubbles

Suspended within the aquatic landscape, this slender log transforms the stillness of the water into a gentle, rhythmic display. The deep blue stone sits quietly among the plants and substrate, becoming a focal point that draws the eye upward as it works.

Designed for both fish tanks and ponds, the air stone diffuses oxygen while providing visual interest. It suits aquarists who value aesthetics alongside function, offering a calm, continuous motion that enlivens any underwater scene.

02MATERIALS

Ore sandstone with a blue finish

The body of the air stone is formed from ore sandstone, a material chosen for its porous nature which allows air to pass through evenly. This composition gives the piece a solid, mineral weight despite its light overall mass. The surface is finished in a rich blue tone, adding a cool contrast to the warm tones of wood or gravel typically found in aquariums.

04PLACEMENT

Submerged or buried in substrate

While effective when placed openly on the bottom, the air stone offers a different aesthetic when partially buried in sand or gravel. In this position, the bubbles appear to rise magically from the ground, wobbling gently as they ascend. This placement can make the source of the aeration less obvious, integrating the function seamlessly into the natural look of the habitat.

05DETAILS

Compact size for smaller setups

This specific variant measures 9.7cm in length, making it suitable for compact aquariums where larger stones might overwhelm the space. The packing carton measures 17 x 13 x 4 cm and weighs 0.02 kg, indicating a lightweight product that is easy to store or transport. Slight variations in colour may occur due to lighting, but the blue hue remains consistent across the batch.

About this product

Our Blue Bubble Log Air Stones are made from ore sandstone and would make a great addition to your aquarium.

These air stones are long and flat, giving them plenty of surface area on which to create bubbles. The bubbles produced along the length of the Air Stone are decorative and give the visual effect of a wall of bubbles.

When placed under a substrate a different type of bubble is created which looks wonderful as it magically rises from the substrate and wobbles its way to the surface.

This listing is for Blue Bubble Log Air Stones which are available in three sizes, 10cm, 15cm, 20cm and 30cm and have an inlet that fits a 4mm hose.
