Clean water from coconut shell core
Water should taste clean before it reaches the glass. This compact filter sits within your stainless steel purifier, working quietly to strip away the metallic edge often found in tap water.
Designed for Aimex gravity systems, this coconut shell block handles up to 1500 litres or four months of use. It suits households seeking a simple, effective upgrade to their daily hydration without complex plumbing.

02MATERIALS
Sustainable coconut shell foundation
The core is formed from activated coconut shell, a material chosen for its high surface area and natural porosity. This dense structure traps suspended particles and germs while allowing water to flow freely. The result is a filtration medium that works hard against impurities without adding any artificial taste or smell to the final drop.
MAINTENANCE
Effortless twist-and-pull replacement
Replacing the filter requires no tools or technical knowledge. Simply twist the existing block out of the top container and twist the new one into the connector. The process takes moments, making it easy to keep your water quality consistent. The block weighs approximately 120 grams, light enough to handle comfortably during routine maintenance.
FIT
Compact dimensions for standard units
Measuring 64 millimetres in outer diameter and 73 millimetres in length, this block fits precisely into Aimex stainless steel purifiers. Its inner diameter of 36 millimetres ensures a secure connection with the internal connectors. The packaging carton measures 10 by 10 by 10 centimetres, keeping the product protected during transit without excessive bulk.
AT A GLANCE
The key points
- Coconut shell activated carbon core
- Reduces chlorine from 2.0 to under 0.2 PPM
- Flow rate of 395 millilitres per minute
- Twist-lock replacement in seconds
- 120 gram block with 64 mm outer diameter
Function
- The water quality is enhanced by the Activated Carbon filter, which eliminates suspended particles, germs, parasites, and unpleasant taste.
- Test Results
- Component Name · Test Name · Inlet Value · Permissible Limit · Method of Test · Results
- Carbon Block Filter · Chlorine Reduction Test · 2.0 PPM · <0.2 PPM · IS-3025 Part-25 · 0.1 PPM
- Carbon Block Filter · Taste · IS-3025 Part -8 · Acceptable
Procedure
To prepare water with a chlorine concentration of 2.0 parts per million (PPM) using sodium hypochlorite, run 50 liters of water with 2.0 PPM of chlorine through the unit. Then, take a sample of the outlet water and perform a titration with sodium thiosulfate.
Replacement of Activated Carbon Block
Replace the activated carbon block after approximately 1500 litres or four months, whichever is earlier to ensure the best filtration purification.
To replace; twist and pull the existing activated carbon block from the top container, then take the new activated carbon block and twist in into connector.
