01COMPUTER CABLES & ADAPTERS
Full Copper Connectivity for Ten Gigabit Speed
A long run of cable can disrupt the visual calm of a room, but this 8Ware piece keeps things tidy with its matte black finish. It sits quietly along skirting boards or under carpets, connecting distant devices without drawing attention to itself.
Engineered for networks running at 10Mbps, 100Mbps, 1000Mbps or 10Gbps, it suits homes and offices where reliable data transfer is essential. The full copper core ensures signal integrity over the 40-metre span, linking computers, consoles and media players to your central hub.
MATERIALS
Pure Copper Core Construction
Unlike budget alternatives that rely on Copper Clad Aluminium, this cable uses a full copper core throughout. This material choice adheres to Australian standards, offering superior conductivity and durability. The robust internal structure protects the signal from interference, ensuring that data travels efficiently from one end of the house to the other without degradation.
PERFORMANCE
Stable High-Speed Data Transfer
Designed for modern networking demands, the cable supports speeds ranging from 10Mbps up to 10Gbps. Whether you are streaming high-definition video, gaming online or transferring large files, the connection remains consistent. The Cat6a specification handles higher frequencies, making it suitable for future-proofing your network infrastructure as technology evolves.
PRACTICALITY
Forty Metres of Reach
The 40-metre length provides ample coverage for larger properties or multi-storey setups. The packaging carton measures 25.5 x 22.5 x 6 cm and weighs 1.58 kg, indicating a substantial coil that is easy to store yet comprehensive enough for complex routing. The snagless design helps prevent the connector from catching on door frames or furniture legs during installation.
AT A GLANCE
The key points
- Full copper core construction, not CCA

About this product
Beware cheaper ‘CCA’ network cables which do not meet Australian standards! All 8Ware network cables are constructed with a full copper core, unlike some of our competitors who use Copper Clad Aluminium (CCA) which is cheaper, but against Australian regulations and potentially dangerous. These high-speed network cables are ideal for home or office networks. Used to connect computers, game consoles, TV and media players to your modem, routers, switches and other network devices. Suitable for networks running at 10Mbps, 100Mbps or 1000Mbps or 10Gbps. Our 8Ware cables are constructed using more robust materials which ensure better protection, superior signal strength and are less susceptible to damage.
