80% Duck Down 20% Duck Feather Quilt – Double

The fill consists of eighty percent down and twenty percent feather, both sourced from ducks in Australia. Down refers to the soft, fluffy clusters growing beneath the outer layer, offering superior insulation compared to standard feathers. All materials are cleaned locally, ensuring a fresh, hygienic base for the final product.

Internal box wall construction prevents the filling from shifting or clumping, creating a uniform spread throughout the quilt. This technical detail ensures that warmth is distributed consistently from edge to centre, avoiding cold spots. The result is a balanced, structured piece that maintains its shape and performance night after night.

Despite its high warmth rating, the quilt remains remarkably light, eliminating the heavy, bulky feeling associated with traditional comforters. The deluxe Japara cotton cover enhances this experience with a smooth texture that drapes neatly over the mattress. It allows for easy movement during sleep while retaining heat effectively.

To preserve the integrity of the down and the cotton cover, the quilt is dry cleanable. Washing instructions are included with the product, guiding owners through proper maintenance. This care method helps retain the loft and volume of the filling, allowing the quilt to remain a durable part of the household for years.

It is intended to support and shield these animals from the unfriendly weather and in their normal surroundings. Down also offers better filling abilities when associated with feathers. Despite its lightweight possessions, a quilt with a high down content will be warmer. The blend of feathers and down give our quilts the ability to breathe and will provide insulation from moisture. With these countless benefits, possessing a feather and down quilt becomes a necessity to add comfort and luxury to real sleep.
