The engine employs a compact oil-immersed timing belt OHC configuration, integrating the valve train into the oil reservoir to save weight and volume. This structural choice supports the 360° inclinable capability, allowing the unit to be stored or operated in any orientation without compromising lubrication flow.

Precise specifications and robust construction
With a bore and stroke of 35 x 26 mm and a compression ratio of 8.0:1, the single-cylinder unit produces 1.0 Nm of max net torque at 5000 rpm. A full-cover construction reduces snagging on branches, and the recoil starter provides reliable ignition via a transistorised system within the 26 x 26 x 23 cm carton.

The GX25 was developed to meet three design objectives: less weight; to be 360°- inclinable; and to provide outstanding environmental performance.
The engine employs the most compact oil-immersed timing belt OHC configuration, making it possible to incorporate the valve train into the oil reservoir for substantial weight and volume savings. Its rotary slinger pumping lubrication system ensures full oil lubrication no matter what the engine angle, allowing it to be continuously operated or stored in any position.
It also delivers an outstanding balance of all-round performance, combined with low noise and low vibration, for efficient, carefree operation.
