01ACTIVITY TOYS
Three small blocks of quiet comfort
A trio of miniature cheese blocks, each no larger than a thumbprint, waits quietly in a pocket or on a desk. They are the kind of object that invites a moment of stillness amidst a busy day.
These slow-rising squishies offer a tactile rhythm for hands that need something to do. Suited for ages three and up, they serve as gentle companions for study breaks or travel.
Three 5cm cheese-block squishies. Pocket-sized and slow-rising – the handy one for a bag, desk or pencil case.
DESIGN
Cheese-inspired forms in varied hues
Each block mimics the irregular, porous shape of a wedge of cheese, rendered in soft plastic. The design is simple yet distinct, with colours and subtle scents that shift slightly from one batch to the next, ensuring no two sets feel exactly alike.
IN USE
The satisfying rhythm of slow rising
When squeezed, the material yields gently before slowly returning to its original form. This slow-rise quality creates a meditative loop, allowing the hand to engage without demanding rapid movement. It is a quiet interaction, ideal for moments when focus is required but the fingers need distraction.
PRACTICALITY
Compact scale for everyday carry
Measuring approximately five centimetres per side, these blocks fit easily into a pencil case, coat pocket or bag. The set weighs just 0.312kg including packaging, making it a lightweight addition to any routine. Note that while compact, they contain small parts, so they suit children aged three and older rather than infants.
