01GARDENING ACCESSORIES
Taut lines for the open air
A taut line of steel stretches across a patio or through a garden, offering structure where there was only space. The coated surface holds its colour against sun and rain, providing a quiet, functional elegance to outdoor living areas.
This set provides thirty metres of flexible yet strong cable, complete with the hardware needed to anchor it securely. It suits those creating clotheslines, supporting climbing plants, or defining boundaries with minimal visual clutter.
02MATERIALS
Coated 304 stainless steel core
The cable features a 1.5mm uncoated core that expands to a 2mm outer diameter once wrapped in protective PVC. This construction uses 304 stainless steel, known for its resistance to rust and corrosion. The coating adds a layer of durability, making the wire waterproof and wear-resistant for long-term exposure to the elements.
INSTALLATION
Simple crimping and tensioning process
Securing the wire requires only crimping pliers to compress the aluminum heat shrink tubing onto the cable end. The M5 tensioner offers a wide range of adjustment, allowing you to tighten the line until it sits perfectly straight. A stainless steel wire sleeve protects the cable from friction, extending the life of the installation.
APPLICATION
Versatile uses for gardens and patios
This cable set supports a variety of outdoor projects, from hanging pendant lights to guiding vine growth. It functions effectively as a clothesline, a railing handrail, or a boundary fence. The lightweight nature of the 2mm gauge makes it suitable for gazebos, curtain wires, and picture hanging systems in sheltered or exposed areas.
